Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center

Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center (Del Oro) is a private non-profit agency funded through the California State Department of Health Care Services and Agency on Aging/Area 4.  We are here to improve the well-being of family caregivers and provide support throughout the caregiving process.  Families and caregivers of brain impaired adults and the frail elderly are invited to contact Del Oro at (800) 635-0220 or (916) 728-9333.

Yolo Hospice

Grief support services are available, free of charge, to those whose loved ones have been in their care, as well as to community members. Bereavement specialists and trained volunteers facilitate groups and family meetings, and provide individual support sessions, home visits and telephone contact as needed.  Referrals to additional support resources are made when appropriate.

Citizens Who Care

We provide social support services to Yolo County adults and their family caregivers. These services are provided by trained, caring volunteers, with the support of our professional staff. Includes programs such as: The In-Home Respite Visiting Program, The Convalescent Hospital Visiting Program, CWC Saturday Club, and Senior Peer Counseling Program.

Dementia Caregivers Support Group

Dementia Caregivers Support Group offers support group for families, including children and spouses, and caregivers of Dementia sufferers. Dementia Caregivers Support Group is for families and caregivers of dementia sufferers, not for those with dementia themselves. Group meets the third Wed. of every month, 10am-noon. Drop ins welcome.

Alzheimer’s Association Support Group
